Anaconda

The Bondi Pavillion Theatre 29 October – 23 November

WALKER: I stabbed that motherf*cker in the heart…It was a mercy killing.
MATTY: How’s that?
WALKER: Doesn’t have to live with himself any more, not like you do.

Matty, a successful Sydney barrister, tries to redeem himself by defending Phil Walker, a killer with whom he shares a terrible history. Walker wrestles with the choice of a life in prison or baring the truth of a past that still haunts him.

These two men have the chance to mend the wounds of the past at the expense of their futures. If you had everything you ever wanted, would you risk it all to be forgiven?

Nominated for Best International Show at Hollywood Fringe 2012, Anaconda is a gripping look at the aftermath of abuse and the search for redemption, inspired by true events surrounding the sexual abuse and extreme bullying scandal that engulfed a prominent Sydney school.

Featuring Martin Broome, Damian de Montemas, Simon Lyndon, Leeanna Walsman.
