The Late Sessions (Late Nights from Thurs-Sun)

A few years ago TRS added a Sunday 8pm slot to its season. This was to firstly maximise the use of the space, but secondly create a space for low-budget, small-scale works or new work in development to be performed at an accessible, respectable Sydney venue. Now the late sessions runs Thurs to Sunday (or Sunday only if the Mainstage show is long)

A late sessions show works on and around the set of the Mainstage show. If the mainstage show is short enough, the late sessions can have a mini-season late nights Thurs-Sun.

In 2007 the concept of a late sessions season was drafted by TRS, this has not yet been realised. In early 2008 we recruited the Australian playwright Van Badham to help with the development of this program.
